The number of lessons and length of time to bring your child up to their typical developmental level depends on the severity of the condition, their general health, prior history and the age of the child. It has become clear through scientific research that our brains continue to have neuoplasticity despite our age. However, because we learn through associations with our surroundings and the frequency of those interactions, we can quickly develop habitual responses. The longer these habits are utilized, the more they become ingrained.
